Professional Writer

Welcome to my web portfolio! My name is Tera Blackham. I am currently a student at Utah State University. After years of working in the professional world, I have decided that it is finally time to earn a degree doing what I love, professional writing.

I had my first taste of professional writing while working on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. I experienced the pressure of deadlines, the responsibility of ethics, and the reward of seeing something published. Now I am taking those experiences and incorporating them into my education.

I have designed this portfolio to display my writing samples and work history. I created some of my samples at school and others in the workforce. Each sample includes a brief overview of the document, explaining its origin and purpose. Some samples are only available in PDF format. You will need Adobe® Reader® to open them.
